Today in Grade 10 applied math, we worked on Accelerated Math, and we studied for our exam tommorow. Have a great year

Today in math class we were given the choice to either study for the exam, complete accelerated math objectives, or to create our 8.5"*11" formula sheet

june 10th

in class we talked about when the exam is going to happen and we are aloud to have a 8 by 11 sheet into the exam but if u cheat u fail and he takes the sheets away.... so dont cheat. we are doing more A/M. we are in the resource for the rest of the week. blog sheets are due june 19th thrusday. the exam is on june 20th in the room. the goal for A/M still to come!

Today we had a work period to work on accelerated math. We have to get 51 objectives by tomarrow afternoon. Remember tommarow we can meet at the legion park to watch girls provincial baseball, if we dont want to go then we can stay at school and work on math, but cannot scan until lunch time.

Today in math class we talked about making 10 area and volume formulas for 2d shapes and 6 3d formulas volume and surface area. We also talked about where to meet Mr. Max on Friday to watch the girls fastpitch team play.

Hiya, This is Shawna not Becky I forgot my password again so I had to go on hers to type this. How nice of her:). But today is Logans day and mine is on Thursday but im going to be going to Winnipeg on Thursday so I asked him nicely if I could do his today and he let me. I wasnt in class much today cause i had a meeting with A teacher in the office but today we learned about the shapes and stuff we need for our excel spread sheets. School is almost over so get studying for exams people!!!

Today in class Mr.Max checked our spreadsheets now we are to add more formulas to the spreadsheet. Our ACCELERATED MATH GOAL is going to be set sometime at the end of the week.. so hurry hurry and get them in!!!

Today in room 204 we worked on A/M (accelerated math). We don't have a number of objectives to reach yet but it will be 60 to 70.

Right Triangular Prism

Today in class we made a table on excel on making a table to find the area/volume of a triangular prism. During the class however, two students from student council came to talk about summer activity day which is on June 13. After all of that, we began to work on accelerated math.

Today in class we started off with Mr. Maksymchuk telling certain people to search formulas for different types of shapes. Then Spencer was caught on a game so Mr. Maksymchuk showed us a video and slideshow on how the internet distracts us from learning. We then did a cube formula sheet on excel.

Today in math we started of with Mr. Max telling us when our exam will be and the days when applied math are due. Then we did trig notes for most of the class. finally we had half an hour or so to work on acc. math

6 diffrent laws of Cosine

Today in Math we were talking about the 6 different laws of cosine. Travis was not here to do the blog so I volunteered. We also did some mental math at the begining of class... then 2 people came in the room for about 10 mins or so, Mr. Max and all of us thought we should show them Kung Fu Panda!

Today in math class at the begining of the class we did mental math. Then we went on and we learned about the law of sines. Here are some slides we learned today in class.

Today at the start of class we did mental math. Next we started off by watching the trailor of "Kung Fu Panda." After that we did alot more trigonometry notes continued from before. Here are some of the notes we did on Trigonometry today!

Right triangles

Hello!

Today in class, Mr. Maks showed us how to measure right triangles in EUKLID DynaGeo. And then afterwards we had some time, to work on our Accelerated Math. Mr.Maks also told us that our goal for next week is to have about 42 objectives.

Today in math we started off with mental math. Once we were done correcting mental math Mr. Maks did a homework check and then we corrected the homework that was assigned. We then talked about the home work for those who did not get it.

trig may 5th

Today first we did Mental Math, Then mr.maks photo coyped some mental math sheets for people. After that we showed him the rest of our joke sheets for marks that were due today. Then we learned Trig( pythogorean theorem (a2+b2=c2) and pythgorean triples (3-4-5)) and how to check our work, then talked abut SOH,CAH,TOA, did notes on sine ration (oppsite side/hypotenuse,cosine taion= adjacent side/hypotenuse side, then tangent ration= opposite side/adjacent side, then gave us 5 triangles for homework.

Today in Math we we're suppose to have 3 more pages of the joke sheets done, but some people didn't get full marks on previous assignment so Mr. Max decided to give those people an second chance to get 3 out of 3. We have till the end of class tomorrow to finish. We have this class and next class to work on them.

April 30th*s blog

:-) Math started out the same way as usual the teacher talked abit and we started working and what really sucks is we need 30 objectives by 5:00 today! Everyone is stressing out except for the lucky ones who have 30. Most of the students didn't do their 3 pages of math but we weren't exactly told so Mr. Maks gave us until 12:10. Im kinda killing my time writing this so im going to get back to work... START WORKING PEOPLE!!! :-)

Homework sheets

Today we did mental math to start off the class. Then Mr. Max did a homework check on pages 144, 145, 156 and told us that we can do 3 a day to get our homework marks up. tommarow 147, 148, and 149 are due along with 3o objectives.

April.24/08.

We were worked on Accelerated Math all class in order to meet our goal which is 30 objectives for Tuesday!!!!! We work on mental math as well. Mr.Max informed us that the joke sheets he had just handed out will be due at the beginning of class on monday.(Pages 144-146) ~*~Richelle~*~

Today is 23 of april, we had mental math like always.. yesterday we had a full class of about PARALLELS & PERPENDICULARS so this class we were able to work on our accelerated math. We are applying what we learnt yesterday to the questions in our accelerated math.
