April 30th*s blog

:-) Math started out the same way as usual the teacher talked abit and we started working and what really sucks is we need 30 objectives by 5:00 today! Everyone is stressing out except for the lucky ones who have 30. Most of the students didn't do their 3 pages of math but we weren't exactly told so Mr. Maks gave us until 12:10. Im kinda killing my time writing this so im going to get back to work... START WORKING PEOPLE!!! :-)

Homework sheets

Today we did mental math to start off the class. Then Mr. Max did a homework check on pages 144, 145, 156 and told us that we can do 3 a day to get our homework marks up. tommarow 147, 148, and 149 are due along with 3o objectives.

We were worked on Accelerated Math all class in order to meet our goal which is 30 objectives for Tuesday!!!!! We work on mental math as well. Mr.Max informed us that the joke sheets he had just handed out will be due at the beginning of class on monday.(Pages 144-146) ~*~Richelle~*~

Today is 23 of april, we had mental math like always.. yesterday we had a full class of about PARALLELS & PERPENDICULARS so this class we were able to work on our accelerated math. We are applying what we learnt yesterday to the questions in our accelerated math.

Today in math we received a free work period.(Very kind of Mr. Maksymchuk) He needed to correct the grade 12's material, therefore we worked on something productive. Now for the weather... we are having a blizzard today with 90km/h winds and the possibility of a tornado. Thats all for now! -Carrot-top

April 7 2008

On Monday we learned more about coordinate geometry. This is the formula for determining the distance between two points. This is how to determine the distance on a sloped line.

Today is April 09/2008. We are learning more about midpoints. We already learned about slope and distance. We are also doing more work on excel. He also told us our new goal for accelerated math around the mid 30's.
