March 20/08

Today in class mr.maks told us we have to have 21 objectives done by spring break. Then we had the hole block to do accelerated math to get 21 objectives.

March 19

Hello today in room 204 we are reviewing stuff for the test we are going to have Tuesday. Some things that we have done in class so far is number systems, radical (simplification),calculator work.

Today in math were doing slopes and stuff with graphs it was intence... But im sorry Mr. maks I dont know how to explain the line design. All I can say it has verticle, horizontal, negative and positve lines:)

March 14th Blog Post

Today in math class we started off doing 5 mental math questions. Then after we corrected our mental math. Mr. Max talked about moving our test from March 18th to March 20th because we have to chose our courses for next year. Then he told us that we have to finish 20+ objectives by parent teacher.

March 13 Graphing Calculator

Today in math we started the class with mental math. Mr. Max showed us how to find common denominators on the calculator. and how to find something if you forget where it is. We learned how to graph on the calculator and how to write the equation in different ways to get the same graph on the calculator. We also learned how to put an equal sign into equations on the calculator. To end the class we played a math game

Today in math we did five mental math questions, took some notes on spreadsheets, talked about Lines of Best Fit, learned how to bend lines on our graphing calculators, the definition for linear regression, and Mr. Max gave us a very thick pink booklet about Linear Models and Patterns.

Tuesday March.11/08

Today in math Mr. Maksymchuk informed us that there is going to be a test Tuesday March.18. He also told us that our marks are now available on Edline from our 7 objectives that were due monday. We took notes on how to do a spreadsheet, then went on Microsoft Excel and followed along with Mr. Max while he taught us how to use this program. Mr. Max suggests that we do accelerated math on a daily basis to keep from falling behind. The last ten minutes we just played around on Microsoft Excel.

Today in Class we skipped mental math and went straight into finishing our Accelerated Math.

Today in math we got assigned exercise 2 and 3. We also have to have 7 mastered objectives by monday. Mr. Maksymchuk isn't here today so we have a substitute teacher. -Carrot-Top

March 5 2008

-Today in math we didn't really do any thing that was assigned for homework but we are suppost to have 7 blue check marks on accelerated math by the end of monday.
